In Preparation for the official launching of the Miariam Theresia O”’ Breien Development Studies Center (MTOB-DSC) in Bong County, the management of Development Education Network-Liberia (DEN-L) has purchased high-quality office and musical materials for the school.
According to the head of the Procurement Committee, they were selected in November 2024 by the management of DEN-L to purchase materials for the running of the program.
Mrs. Varbah M. Tennie (HR) noted the committee worked in line with DRN-L’s procurement policy to meet international best practices, advertising a bidding process, and Office Ideas, on Bensons and Mechlin Street, Monrovia was selected to supply the materials.
She used the turnover ceremony to appreciate the five team members for implementing the mandate given to them by the management of the institution.
Materials purchased include Office Chairs and desks, projectors, Cabinets, Printers, Air Conditioning Units, as well as musical keyboards, drums, guitars, and other accessories for the center. The total cost of the materials is Nne-Thousand, five hundred and seventy-five United States dollars. (US$ 9575.00).
Meanwhile, the school is expected to start operation this academic year 2025 on the compound of the Development Education Network-Liberia, located on Dementa road, Gbarnga City, Bong County
